MEET THE ENSEMBLE

The Michael Silva Latin Jazz Ensemble brings together respected Bay Area musicians whose backgrounds span Latin jazz, salsa, Latin rock, funk, R&B, and contemporary jazz. Led by percussionist and bandleader Mike Silva, the ensemble blends Afro-Cuban rhythms with jazz improvisation, bringing together musicianship, energy, and a deep respect for the traditions that inspire the music.
